“Vietnam has seen encouraging signs in foreign investment, particularly from Korea, Japan, Singapore, China and Europe. European investors are trying to make full use of bilateral and mutilateral free trade agreements to offset the losses caused by Brexit”, said Nguyen Van Toan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Foreign Investment Business Association. He added that Vietnam needs to further develop infrastructure, fine-tune institutions, ensure transparency, and protect intellectual property to draw more investment from Europe.

The northern province of Bac Ninh lured 2.7 billion USD in FDI in the past 4 months, ranking first among provinces and cities in Vietnam.
