Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue talks with business leaders

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue had separate talks with leaders of Mitsubishi, Deloitte, Hanwha Energy, McKinsey, and HSBC Bank in Hanoi on Thursday.

In a meeting with Matthew Lobner, Head of Strategy and Planning for Asia-Pacific of HSBC Bank, Mr. Hue expects the Bank to give Vietnam reports and consultations on macro-economic policies, help Vietnam resolve bad debts, and restructure financial institutions.

Talking to Ken Kawai, Vice Chairman of Mitsubishi Industry Corporation, Mr. Hue praised it for providing scholarships to Vietnamese students and expanding its business in Vietnam.

Receiving Philip Yuen, CEO of Deloitte Southeast Asia, Mr. Hue praised it for helping Vietnam train human resources for the audit sector.

Meeting with Kaushik Das, CEO of McKinsey & Company Southeast Asia, Deputy Prime Minister Hue suggested it give advice to the Vietnamese government in policies for sustainable development, capacity building, and human resource training.
