PM meets leader of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wang Huning in Beijing on Tuesday, as part of the the PM's ongoing official visit to China.

PM Chinh encouraged Vietnam and China to continue high-level meetings and exchanges, expand cooperation between their localities, and organize friendly meetings, people-to-people exchanges, youth festivals, and people’s forums.

Mr. Wang said China always considers Vietnam a priority in its foreign policy, and is ready to work with Vietnam to increase strategic exchanges and promote relations between the two Parties and countries in a sustainable manner.

The CPPCC supports increasing people-to-people exchanges to deepen friendship, expand economic, trade and investment cooperation and transport infrastructure connectivity, and increase the frequency and strength of collaboration between localities.
