Hanoi inaugurates new 500 billion VND road in southeast area

(VOVWORLD) - A new road connecting Hoang Mai district's administrative area to Tam Trinh Street with a total investment capital of 500 billion VND was recently put into operation, thereby helping to address traffic congestion in the southeast area of the capital.

The road spans a total of 1.9km and is expected to ease traffic congestion at Phap Van Intersection, an area known as the capital’s gateway.

The project connects the eastern road of Hoang Mai district's administrative area to Tam Trinh Street, with construction beginning on the project in 2019.

Work on the area helps to connect main roads, reduce pressure on Belt Road No.3, and foster economic development in the southeast area of Hanoi.
